Hello everyone,

My name is Tammy, and I am a mother to six children, a grandmother to thirteen, and a great-grandmother to one. I am reaching out with a heavy heart because my son Michael has recently passed away, joining his sister Sarah, who died just over two years ago. I am on disability and have no savings, and now I have only 7-10 days to make arrangements for Michael’s cremation. If I cannot raise the funds, the state will cremate him and bury him in an unmarked grave.

Michael struggled with schizophrenia and addiction his entire life. He often felt isolated and alone, as so many with mental health issues do. Despite his struggles, he was my firstborn and means so much to me. He deserves to be honored with dignity, not forgotten in an unmarked grave.
