We are heartbroken.
Meyyan Palaniappan Vendan was taken from us too soon by sudden cardiac arrest. One moment he was here laughing, making plans, doting on his two little nieces, and quietly taking care of everyone around him. The next, he was gone.
He was the son every parent dreams of and the brother and uncle every family is blessed to have. No matter how busy life became, he called his parents every single morning. His parents, siblings, and little nieces were his entire world, and he was theirs. The emptiness he has left behind is beyond words.
To his friends, Meyyan was always “the cool one”, calm, compassionate, genuine, and the person who brought people together without trying. He brought light and joy everywhere he went.
Right now, his family’s only wish is to bring him home to India so he can be laid to rest in the place he loved, surrounded in spirit by those who came before him. This final journey home means everything to them.
The cost of international repatriation and funeral arrangements is more than his grieving family should have to bear alone. As friends, loved ones, and community, we are coming together to help make this possible and to ease even a small part of the heavy burden his parents, siblings, and nieces are carrying.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, is a gesture of love and respect. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page means more than you know.
Thank you for helping us honor a remarkable life and for surrounding his family with compassion, support, and love.
