It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Maurice McFarland III—a grandfather, a father, a son, a brother, and a truly remarkable man. Maurice was a fighter, holding on with all his strength, but his journey on this earth has come to an end.

Maurice had a gift for making everyone feel like family. His ability to create a sense of community wherever he went was a true reflection of his spirit. Whether through his laughter, his stories, or just his warm presence, Maurice touched countless lives. He made people feel seen, loved, and appreciated—and his absence leaves a deep void in all of us who knew him.

He was a proud fan of the Dallas Cowboys, never forgot his beloved high school San Fernando Tigers, and always carried love for his Venice in his heart. These teams and places were more than just names to Maurice—they were part of the community and identity he cherished. His loyalty, pride, and passion were unmatched.

Our family is currently facing the heartbreaking reality of not having the funds to cover Maurice’s funeral and burial arrangements. We want to honor his life and legacy in a way that reflects the love and light he brought into the world. To do that, we are humbly asking for your help.
