As many of you know, our hearts are heavy after the sudden passing of our Matt — a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend to so many. Matt’s greatest joy in life was being a dad to his daughters, Rylee and Taylor.

Rylee is about to begin her senior year at Illinois State University, while Taylor is preparing to start her freshman year. Both girls have worked incredibly hard to pursue their education and make their dad proud. Throughout their lives, they could always rely on Matt for support — not just his love and encouragement, but also his help with the practical needs of being a student: rent, books, tuition, and everyday expenses.

With Matt’s passing, Rylee and Taylor are facing this next chapter without the steady support of their dad. In addition to the emotional loss, there are significant financial burdens, including funeral expenses and the ongoing costs of Rylee and Taylor’s education.

We are creating this fund to honor Matt’s memory by easing these burdens — ensuring his daughters can continue their education and that his family has support in covering funeral costs.
