On November 19, 2025, our beloved Matthew James Cuypers, Sr.—a devoted Catholic, husband, loving father, and proud Marine—passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. His family, who cherished him deeply, will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Matt’s legacy lives on through his seven children, twenty-one grandchildren, and three cherished fur babies. From a young age, Matthew chose a path of service and honor, joining the Marines at just 18. Throughout his life, he embodied the values of loyalty, hard work, and love of family.

An avid outdoorsman and skilled mechanic, Matt found joy in the simple things—living off the land, exploring nature, and sharing his passions with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and wife. His adventurous spirit and deep love for the outdoors brought his family together and created lifelong memories.

As the Cuypers family navigates this time of grief, they are facing significant financial challenges to cover funeral and burial expenses. Any support you can provide will help ease their burden and allow them to honor Matthew with the dignity he deserves.
