In loving memory of Marva Jean Coleman - Funeral Fund

With deep sadness, our family announces the passing of our beloved Marva Jean Coleman on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Marva was a devoted grandmother, great grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, and dear friend. She was truly the heart of our family - a constant source of strength, joy and love. Her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and vibrant personality touched everyone she met. Sundays were sacred to her. You could always find her worshiping at Macedonia Baptist Church for over thirty years in Mount Vernon where her faith and spirit shined.

As her granddaughter, I, Therisa, I am organizing this fundraiser to help cover the funeral and burial expenses. We are seeking to raise $15,000 to ensure Marva receives the beautiful and respectful homegoing service she deserves - a final celebration of a life well lived.
