Honor Markisha's Memory with Your Help

My Name is Mom...Markisha was placed in my home when she was 11 years old through foster care...it was her request. Markisha would see me pick her best friend up and boldly ask her if her mother would adopt her. She even had a card to the foster care agency she wanted me to call. I prayed about it and knew it was meant for her to become a permanent part of our family. Markisha left home at the age of 21 to start adventures of her own in life; I am still her legal guardian to date, and Mom is here to ensure her memory in life is honored.

With a heavy heart and saddened countenance of her sudden departure, I regretfully share with all those who loved her she passed away on 3-21-2025 in New Haven, CT, from influenza while visiting a friend. I want to let you know she was stubborn till the very end, as her heart stopped twice before finally letting go. Please help me with the cost of her funeral and memorial services and help our family lay "Clark" to rest in peace. I appreciate and thank you!
