We’re raising funds to help lay my grandmother, Maria, and her youngest son, Jaime, to rest alongside our grandpa, Jesus, and cousin Chuy.
Jesus and Chuy are buried together in the Bay Area, where we visit often and hold family gatherings. It’s a place filled with love, memory, and meaning—and we would love nothing more than to bring my grandma and uncle to rest there too.
We’ve already held funerals for both Maria and Jaime, but placing their urns in the existing family plot comes with an unexpectedly high cost, on top of the funeral expenses we’ve already covered. We’re now asking for help to make this final step possible and reunite them with their loved ones—Maria’s husband and grandson, who are also Jaime’s father and cousin.
Jaime passed away unexpectedly at the age of 43 from a brain aneurysm. He was an organ donor whose heart and liver saved the lives of two people. We are incredibly proud of his selfless gift, and we want to honor both him and our grandmother by bringing them home to rest with family.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, means so much to our family. Thank you for helping us give them the peaceful, united resting place they deserve.
