Lisa wasn’t just a nurse she was someone you could count on. The kind of person who walked into a room and instantly made you feel safe, like everything was going to be okay. Her laugh could lift your spirits, and her hugs they were like medicine. She had this way of making people feel truly seen and loved whether you were a patient, a coworker, or just someone passing through who needed a little kindness.

She gave her heart to her work, always going the extra mile. People still talk about how she stayed late just to comfort a family, how she whispered prayers over sleeping patients, how she remembered birthdays and brought homemade goodies to share. Lisa didn’t just clock in she made every moment count. She made it personal. She made it holy.

But behind that beautiful smile and unstoppable energy, Lisa was quietly fighting her own battle. Cancer showed up uninvited, but she faced it with strength, grace, and deep faith. Even when she was hurting, she kept lifting others up sending encouraging messages, checking in on friends, and reminding us all to slow down and appreciate the little things.
