My name is Haleigh. My mother is Lisa Johnson Bautista. She's currently on hospice care here in our home. She's been diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure. She's been dealing with health issues since 2011. We almost lost her several times, but she would say that the good Lord just wasn't ready for her. She told us the other day that her 9 lives (because she was born in August, which makes her a lion) are about up. She gave birth to my brother (Pedro aka PJ) and me, but ended up with at least 20 other kids. These 20 extra kids are friends of ours, but they always call Mama, like our mama is theirs. She loved each and every one of them. One even has a little girl, and that little girl calls her G-Mama. Mama would tell us, "All these kids keep me feeling young again." She truly has so much love for everyone. She will be truly missed. Thank you all for taking the time to read our story. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
