On March 18th, our hearts were broken by the sudden loss of Lisa. While we are all devastated by her loss, no one feels this more profoundly than her son, Luke.

If you knew Lisa, you knew how deeply and fiercely she loved Luke. He was her whole world, her pride, her purpose, and the center of everything she did.

She showed up for him every single day with a love that was steady, selfless, and unwavering.

Now, at 22, Luke is facing life without her.

We are all still trying to process this loss ourselves; it’s so hard to imagine what this feels like for Luke. Instead of moving forward with his mom and only parent by his side, he will now have to navigate this next chapter without her guidance, support, and constant presence.

As the people who love Lisa, this is our chance to show up for her in the way she always showed up for Luke.

We are raising funds that will be deposited into a Wells Fargo managed account expressly set up to help Luke with immediate living expenses and to begin to build a sustainable financial foundation for his future. This will allow him the space to grieve without the added pressure of financial stress.

More than anything, our goal is to ensure Luke is surrounded by love, on-going support, and a community committed to caring for him now and in the future.

Lisa spent her life taking care of Luke. Now it’s our turn to step up.
