My name is Dominique Helle and I am the granddaughter of a wonderful woman named Liselotte Helle. Those close to her know her as Lilo. She is currently on hospice here at home so she can pass surrounded by loved ones. Lilo immigrated here from Germany at 17 years of age and worked hard her whole life, sacrificing holidays, weekends, and any time she could to provide a good life for her children and grandchildren. This family owes this woman a great deal for her sacrifices and we ask those who are able, to lend a hand so that we may be able to lay her to rest. Lilo had been a resident of Lake Arrowhead for over 50 years, she retired from Lake Arrowhead Resort after 25 years of dedicated service. She was married to Anton Helle for 40 years and they had 3 children together: Iboya, Ilona, and Tony. Her youngest daughter, Iboya, had two children, Dominique and Angelina. Lilo came from a large family, having 7 other brothers and sisters. She is survived by only one sister, Gerda Mende and Waldy Odemer.
