On November 7, 2025, our world was forever changed when we lost one of its brightest souls — McArthur Howard III (“Leek”), just 21 years old. His life was tragically and unexpectedly shortened, leaving all of us heartbroken beyond words.

Anyone who knew Leek knows how deeply he was loved and how much light he brought into the lives of others. He was an amazing son, a wonderful brother, a loving boyfriend, and a loyal friend. Leek had the biggest heart — he was kind, funny, and always ready to help the people he loved, even when he didn’t have everything figured out himself. He made everyone around him feel loved and cared for.

This loss has left our family not only grieving but also struggling with the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. As we try to find our way through this unimaginable pain, we want to give Leek the homegoing celebration he deserves — one that honors his life, his laughter, and the love he shared with everyone who knew him.
