Lauren, a sophomore at Nesbitt Discovery Academy, was a beloved community member and friend. They had a passion for soccer, and was a goalkeeper on their team. Tragically, they passed away recently due to an anoxic brain injury. They will be missed by so many, and we want to honor them with a memorial bench at the Buncombe County Sports Park, where they frequently played soccer. We want to raise as much as we possibly can to give them the best quality bench that they deserve. Any donations, large or small, will be greatly appreciated. If there are leftover donations, I would like to give them to The Trevor Project, a nonprofit that focuses on suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth.

**the service date is incorrect, I had to put a date on the go fund me so I chose the last day of the month, but there will NOT be a service on July 31. The bench is set to arrive in early August, so I will update when it is delivered and let everyone know where they can visit anytime. My apologies for any confusion!
