In February 2025, the Mt Airy community of Philadelphia suffered a great loss with the untimely passing of HSA Co-President, devoted Houston parent, tireless activist, and loving friend Lauren Wiley.

Neighbors of Henry H. Houston Elementary have generously offered to remove a damaged tree at the entrance to the school in order to replace it with a memorial tree for Lauren. We're hoping to raise the funds needed for the labor and materials needed to clear the area and plant the new tree.
