Honor Larry with a Detroit Memorial

Larry Halbert spent his life dedicated to the Arts in Detroit. He provided a workspace, tools and mentorship for many artists in the city. All while continuing his fight to provide public art works and beauty, highlighting its rich history steeped in the working class that made Detroit epicenter of innovation and the arts. Being a self-employed artist does not provide the financial stability of Social Security or a Pension necessary to cover final expenses and living costs for his wife and partner of 50 years.
