Honor Kenny's Memory with a Loving Farewell

Donation protected
Hi, my name's Melissa and this GoFundMe is for my Uncle Kenny’s sister, Jodie Westphal, who is dealing with all the arrangements and celebration of life for Kenny, our dear Brother, Father, Friend, Uncle, and so much more. She has very little money and is on a fixed income. We are trying to give Kenny the send-off he so dearly deserves. So unexpected, anything helps. Thank you in advance.

From Jodie, Sister to Kenny:

Kenny touched the lives of many people with his generous, loving, and caring ways. He will be missed not just by me but by the many people he helped.
Kenny passed away just 4 weeks after he entered Davis Hospital for a blood clot in his brain. Davis removed the clot and they transferred him to Memorial Hospital for rehab PT, ST, and OT. He wasn’t doing well, so he was moved to another part of the hospital. There he got pneumonia and his heart got weak, so off to the cardiac department of the hospital. His blood pressure was low. He was hooked up to a lot of cords and IVs and was moved to his own room on May 28th.
When I arrived on the 29th, almost 4 pm, the hospital staff had made arrangements to have him transported to a facility in Sebastopol. I stayed until 9:30 pm and was back at 10 am the next morning. I stayed until 7 pm, only to get the call the next morning on my way to where he was to hurry. He died around 9 am right when I got there. The nurse wanted to know about donating his organs. I said yes, but she came back and said we couldn’t because of septic shock.
I told him how much I loved him and kissed him before I left.

Also, his loving sister, Auntie Carol Gonzales, who lives in Washington, called every day and did FaceTime with Kenny, sending her love. She loved him so very much. Jodie and Carol, Will anmd Karen are his only living siblings, and they were all very close. Jodie and Carol, Will and Karen are holding each other together along with the rest of the family.
Thank you in advance for anything you can donate to this family for Kenny’s send-off.

Services are planned on his 69th birthday, June 21st, 2025, time TBT. It will be in Santa Rosa, CA. We will update the time and address as we know. Thanks again.
Rest easy, Uncle Kenny. We all loved you so much!

He loved you all! He wanted a big party, his nephew Shannon had said this year, so we would love to give him what he deserves.
