Honor Kenny's Legacy: Support His Cremation
Donation protected
On February 16th, 2025, “Kenny” Charles Kenneth Fruhwirth passed away at the Hershey Medical Center due to severe infections in his kidneys and lungs. Kenny wished to have his body donated to science, but due to the poor condition he was in, he will not be able to have his body donated. Kenny is currently resting at the Central Pennsylvania Cremation Society in Harrisburg until cremation. If the necessary funds for cremation are not provided, Kenny will not be cremated.
Kenny was a PA National Guard veteran who fought in the Vietnam War. He had spent over 50 years of his life dedicated to his country through law enforcement as a constable, sheriff, and volunteer fire companies for community. He was especially active with the Union Deposit Volunteer Fire Company 47. At the 47 fire company, he had held the positions of captain, sergeant, lieutenant of fire police, and a trustee.
Kenny had been in and out of hospitals for the past few years due to a heart condition. Since his frequent trips to the hospital, he had trouble financing his bills, leading to unpaid medical bills and unpaid rent. This results in his wife Penny having to pay for the bills and for his cremation.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to allow his wife to be able to take Kenny home. The funds will be used for Kenny’s cremation and any additional funds left over will help Penny pay for their unpaid bills.
Any donation is greatly appreciated!
