Our hearts are broken. On October 17, 2025, in Spring, Texas, a beloved grandmother, Kathy Brown, was tragically shot and killed inside her home on Hannover Forest Drive.

She was the heart of her family across states. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, a teacher at Kreinhop Elementary, and friend who always welcomed everyone with a warm smile and open arms.

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, the family is facing more than grief. Many relatives live out of state, and they now need to travel to Houston to support one another, be at her side, share memories, and attend a memorial service to honor her life. They are also coping with immediate expenses. Travel, lodging, memorial costs, and supporting one another emotionally through this time. In this time of sorrow, your kindness brings hope.
