Honor Julio Bravo's Memory: Support His Family

On the night of September 15th, our community lost a bright light. Julio Bravo was only 17 years old when he was shot and killed at East Las Vegas Family Park. In an instant, his beautiful life was stolen. If you knew Julio, you knew how he carried himself with kindness, humor, and willingness to step up for anyone who needed him. If you didnt know, he was one of the good ones. He would come home from work and play on the PS5, order Postmates, and hang out at home talking to us about us about his day. Other days you would find him at the mall or Planet Fitness. The kind of son who made his mom proud every single day.

He was my light, Julio was not only my son, he was my Bestfriend, my first child, his sister's protector and the heart of our family. I miss him so much. My family and I are left with a pain, a void that can never be filled. The Juveniles who did this have been arrested, but nothing could ever bring my son back.

From the time that he was little he promised me ,"mom, I'll take care of you." And he kept that promise every single day. He worked hard, he dreamed big for his future and always put family first.

We are asking for support as we face the unthinkable - laying Julio to rest and trying to hold each other through this nightmare. No donation is too small and even a share means more than you know. Most of all, your messages of love and support are being read by our family and bring comfort during this darkest time.

I also ask our community to PLEASE continue watching , standing with US. We are confident that the District Attorney will show us that justice will be served, but we need your voices and presence to make sure the system does what's right.
