Hi, my name is Stephanie Jimenez McMurdo, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my beloved father, Juan Francisco Jimenez, who is currently in hospice and nearing the final chapter of his life here with us. Born in 1945, my dad’s life has been a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering strength.

Juan battled Parkinson’s disease, dementia, COPD, and other serious medical conditions with remarkable grace and fortitude. Despite the toll these illnesses took on his body, he never let them define him. He continued to lead with compassion, kindness, and dignity—even on the hardest days.

He was a father who taught us to be strong in the face of hardship and to always lead with heart. Because of him, my sister and I were inspired to enter the medical field and dedicate our work to supporting patients in behavioral health—many of whom come from underserved communities. He showed us, by example, what it means to advocate for others, to endure with grace, and to extend love even when suffering.

Through his journey, we learned what it truly means to live with purpose. His strength and compassion shaped who we are, and we are committed to carrying his legacy forward by treating others with the same care and dignity he lived by.

As we prepare to say goodbye, we want to honor his life with the dignity he deserves. We are humbly asking for support to help cover funeral and end-of-life costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to our family and help lighten the burden during this deeply emotional time.
