It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of JP, a beloved son, brother, and friend. Born in the Philippines, JP grew up facing numerous challenges, but his determination, resilience, and heart for others always shone through. He spent his life helping those around him, offering love and support to his family and friends, and always putting others before himself.

JP earned his bachelor’s degree in English from San Diego State University (SDSU), a remarkable accomplishment that reflected his unwavering commitment to education and self-improvement.

He was more than just a brother—he was a protector, a mentor, and a constant source of strength. Whether it was offering a kind word, giving advice, or just being there when someone needed him, JP was always the first to lend a hand and joke around to make the situation less gloomy. He had a natural ability to make others feel seen and heard, and his kindness had no limits.

This page has been created to help raise funds for his funeral expenses and to give him the dignified farewell he deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to honoring his memory and supporting his family during this incredibly difficult time.

We are having the service on the 7th and the cremation will take place 2 weeks later. We are grateful for all the love and support we've already received, and we know that JP would have been deeply touched by the outpouring of kindness from those who knew him.
