Our family is deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved mother, and grandmother, Joy Kelly. Joy was the cornerstone of our family—a woman of remarkable strength, compassion, and grace. Her love and kindness radiated through everything she did, leaving an imprint on everyone who knew her.

Joy’s life was one of selflessness and devotion to her family. She was not only a caregiver to her daughter Pamela, but also a guiding light to her granddaughter, April. During one of the hardest chapters of our family’s life, when Pamela was caring for her husband Tommy as he battled terminal leukemia in the hospital, Joy stepped in and raised April. She gave her granddaughter a safe, loving home filled with warmth and stability, while Pamela remained by Tommy’s side. Joy carried the weight of those years with incredible strength and love, never once wavering in her devotion to her family.

Her bond with Pamela was one of deep love and dedication. As Pamela’s caregiver, Joy gave her entire heart to ensuring her daughter’s comfort and well-being. The two of them were inseparable—best friends as much as mother and daughter. Joy’s love for Pamela was unwavering, a daily reminder of what true devotion looks like.

Now that Joy has passed, we are faced with the painful reality of saying goodbye in a way that honors the life she lived and the sacrifices she made for her family. She gave everything she had to those she loved, and we want to give her the dignity and respect she deserves as we lay her to rest. Unfortunately, our family is struggling to cover the costs of her funeral and memorial services, along with the many unexpected responsibilities that come after such a loss.
