Dear friends and family,

It is with profound sorrow that I share the loss of Joseph Egan, the love of Amanda Egan’s life, her soulmate and best friend.

Joe was tragically taken from us in a devastating car accident. Though he didn’t have the chance to say goodbye, his final act was one of incredible selflessness and compassion.

Through organ donation, Joe saved at least four lives giving his liver, heart, kidneys, veins, bones, skin, and tissue. His legacy of kindness and generosity lives on in those he helped, even in death.

But Joe was so much more than this final act.

Joe was an Eagle Scout and much of his childhood into adulthood was spent helping and serving others. Joe was a chef. An avid cellist. A lover of astronomy. A self taught guitar player. A deep thinker and an accepting soul. A caring and compassionate son, a brother, an uncle and Godfather and of course an incredible cat dad to Charlie, Jean and Raven.

Above all, he was Amanda’s everything and she was his.

Today, Amanda is facing unimaginable grief and a mountain of emotional and financial burdens. We are asking for your help to surround her with the love and support she so deeply needs, just as she has always given so freely to others.
