In Loving Memory of Yohanes Beyene (Jonny) - a Devoted Husband, Father, Brother & Friend.
It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved brother and friend, Yohanes Beyenne, known to many of us as Jonny. He passed away suddenly on September 17, due to a heart-related medical complication, while playing with his children at home. His loss has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Jonny was a proud graduate of Arba Minch University (Class of 2002) and spent the years since working tirelessly to build a better life for his family and community. He was a respected construction Professional Engineer and Project Manager who made his mark on several major development projects in Ethiopia, including:
- Heineken Brewery Plant (with RAMA Construction)
- Habesha Brewery (Independent Contractor)
- Mechare Meda Development (with MIDROC Construction)
- Gerji Modern Village (with OVID Construction)
- Addis Ababa Riverside Project (with ASER Construction)
Jonny lived in Addis Ababa with his loving wife and their four beautiful children. He was a dedicated father, a devoted husband, and a reliable friend. His sudden departure has left his family heartbroken and facing emotional and financial hardship.
