Today, we are raising funds to honor the memory of Jonnie Clasen, who passed away at age 79 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Jonnie was an Honorary Ranger Hall of Fame inductee, a tireless advocate for Merrill’s Marauders history, and the driving force behind the Congressional Gold Medal awarded to the 5307th Composite Unit (Provisional), as well as the 2021 Marauders documentary.

After the passing of her father. Jonnie had fallen on hard times. She gave so much of herself to preserving the history and legacy of our nation’s heroes. Unfortunately, she had fallen on hard times in recent years, and her family now faces the difficult task of covering funeral expenses and settling her affairs. All funds raised will go directly to support funeral costs and her family as they navigate this painful loss.
