We are hoping to raise $8000.00 for a memorial bench for John; we have been approved for a spot in Malibu Creek State Park, which was one of John's favorites, also the annual Glamping park.

Not long after his passing, friends and loved ones came together to raise money for John's memorial, (the hall, insurance, flowers, etc.), with the understanding that any remaining funds would go toward a bench in his honor, however, we did not anticipate the funds for the bench to be so high, ($8k), hence the GofundMe.

There are monies left over from the memorial, which are being held in a private bank account, however, we thought this Go Fund Me page would be a more transparent way to move forward.
