The world lost a great man on late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. Joe Jones, most celebrated for his extreme generosity to everyone he encountered, passed away tragically on October 19, 2025, in Ocotillo Wells, CA, near his desert home. Joe was an amazing father, selfless husband, brother, uncle, son, grandson, nephew, and friend to more people than most of us will encounter in our lifetime. He was an active member in the race world including the sidecar, speedway, and motocross communities, which afforded him the opportunity to do what he did best: help others in a sport he loved. There are not enough words to describe the impact this man had on those around him. Joe Jones will truly be missed.

Together with our family, we are collecting for Hudson’s future. As many know, the “race life” is not for the weak at heart. Joe spent countless hours at the track with Hudson, repairing the broken bikes (for Hudson and everyone else), perfecting his fuel mix, and the never-ending washings between races. Not to mention the frequent road trips and other various financial obligations that come with racing. So many people have reached out to help, but at the end of the day, Debbie and Hudson have to navigate this new path together.

Nothing can replace him, but we’re hoping to secure Joe's legacy for Hudson, or at least raise funds where we can for his future. Hudson was Joe’s pride and joy, and we want to make sure that Hudson can continue to maintain his racing dreams. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
