Since 2021 we've given out 12 scholarships to performing arts students at John Marshall High School, Glen Dale, WV.

The Robert James “Jim” Gracey Memorial Scholarship is a $1500.00 scholarship which is awarded to two John Marshall High School seniors.

Jim Gracey was a freshman student at John Marshall High School 2018-2019. Before his passing he was very active in performance arts activities at John Marshall High School including the JMHS Marching Monarchs and Concert Band, The Marshall County Strings Orchestra/Chamber Orchestra and the Monarch Company. He was also an avid bass guitarist and helped with the audio/visual at his church. This scholarship is in his memory.

The awardees must have a great love of the performing arts and be active in the performing arts at JMHS and/or the community. The awardees do not have to be majoring in the performing arts to be eligible for the scholarship.
