Honor Jim Abell's Legacy and Life of Service

Donation protected
It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of Jim Abell. he passed away on March 7th, 2025. Jim was a loving father who tragically lost his wife in 2011. After the death of his wife, Jim decided to move to Myrtle Beach to enjoy a slower pace going into his golden years. His favorite pastime was fishing with friends from the various piers in Myrtle Beach.

Jim was a life member volunteer firefighter with the Kensington Volunteer Fire Dept. Jim joined the fire department at the age of 14 and became a full-time volunteer at the age of 18. He served the community for many years and never looked for anything in return. We now have the opportunity to give him a proper send off that he deserves.

As part of his extended family, we are asking for donations to bring Jim back home and celebrate his lifetime achievements at a celebration of life.
