Hi my dearest family and friends. My daddy Jerry Burchette was one special man with an extremely special soul and smile to match. If what my dad was doing did not revolve around his family and some of his dearest friends, which he often referred to as his brothers, he didn't have much time for it. My dad's heart was bigger than most have ever seen and I am so honored to be his daughter and to have been loved by him! My father, my dad, my first best friend in this entire world never stopped telling my brother and I how much he truly loved us. My dad was surrounded by family and friends until the very end as he was losing his battle to cancer. We laughed together, listened to some Marvin Gaye, broke bread (in my father's words), prayed and cried until my dad gained his wings early Monday morning, February 10th, 2025.
My dad put up a tough fight! He Fought so hard! I've never seen anything like it! He was a soldier! I am here to honor my dad's last and final wishes. My dad asked that we dress him up in his black suit and black shoes, while adding in, "make sure I look real nice". He asked for his family, and friends to come see him one last time. My dad said, "Baby, let my friends see me, I want them to be able to see me one last time". He just absolutely loved being around those that loved being around him.
My brother and I are asking for help to honor our dad's final wishes. We are grateful for each and every one of you and any amount will help us reach our goal.
Again, we thank you all so much from the very bottom of our hearts from the call's, text messages, and comments on all social media platforms. We see you and we LOVE YOU ALL.
With a very grateful heart,
Krystal and Nick Burchette ( aka Ya's Ya's kids)
We would like to meet our goal Sunday, February 16th, 2025 ❤️
