Hi, my name is Jackson Fendler. I am reaching out during a difficult time--My father Jeffrey "Jeff" Fendler recently passed away. With no life insurance and limited resources, the emotional and financial burden on our family is heavy.

Over the past few day, many people have reached out to offer support, share his memory, and ask how they can help. We are very deeply grateful and in response, I've created this Go Fund Me page as not only a way to receive help, but give back.

It was no secret that my father struggled with addiction. It was a hard part of his life and difficult for those that loved him, but it never defined who he was. Jeff had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor, and a passion for music like no other. He was loved by many.

He was clean for over 3 months before he passed, and he was still fighting everyday to improve his life. I believe he would have wanted to support others who fought the same battles as he did.

That is why this fundraiser will serve two purposes. Half of the donations will go directly to covering the funeral expenses. The other half will go directly to a charity that helps individuals struggling with addiction. If funeral cost are fully covered, 100% of the donations will go directly to the charity. We are currently researching the best local organization to partner will and will share that information soon.
