Honor Jassen's Memory: Aid for His Family

The Savoie family has experienced the devastating loss of their father, husband, brother, son, Jassen. His beautiful wife Nicole is faced with the daunting obligation of how to get him home, where he can be laid to rest here in Colorado. She is tasked with putting the pieces together of their family, helping herself, and her girls navigate the complexities of grief with the uncertainties of financial stability. Jassen Savoie was born on May 3, 1974, to Marcel and Cathy Savoie in Michigan. On September 22, 2001 he married the love of his life, Nicole in Littleton Colorado. Their three daughters Ashlee, Maya, and Maggie were the jewels of his eye and his family was his reason for everything he did. He was a fiercely devoted father, involved in every aspect of his girls’ lives, including competitive swimming, which he too enjoyed has a child and teen. Sharing his passion with his girls made his heart soar and watching them accomplish so much made him beam with pride. Jassen and Nicole loved to travel and vacation with their girls, showing them the beauty of God’s creation and the joy of making memories together. Jassen was always the hardest worker in the room. He took pride in his work and dug deep to always put forth his best effort. Jassen had just landed his dream job and was flying to England to meet his new team and was beyond excited for this amazing opportunity. He experienced a medical emergency on the flight and tragically passed away.

He taught his girls to never give less than their all, to always be willing to step up and do the hard stuff, and above all else, to always tell those that you care about just how much you love them. His memory and legacy will be kept alive in those young souls and we are all so honored to have known him and proud of the man he was each and every day.
