Hi! My name is Brittany. My father, Jason, suddenly passed away on August 9th. My dad was only 60 years old. I can’t believe I am actually planning a funeral right now. I am so thankful I was able to be with him in his final weeks. However doing that required me to miss a ton of work!!! I still have my job however I am trying my best to honor him with a cremation and celebration. All of which cost money. My dad was a very simple man and to no surprise His final wishes were very simple but just a little out of reach for myself. He would like to be cremated and his ashes spread where he grew up with his younger brother (who passed last year). I would like to take our family out there to fulfill his final wish. It would mean the world to me if I was able to do it by his birthday on October 15th. Unfortunately, financially, I need a little help to make that happen. This is very hard for me to ask, but I figure if it means I can make his final wish come true with just a little bit of help, it’s worth a shot. He called his birthday his festival. I had very different plans for his festival this year but August 9th my whole world changed not only did I lose my dad but my best friend. My kids lost their partner in crime and their Grandpa. He had so much more life to live. Oh here comes the tears.
