In the evening/early morning hours of July 2nd/3rd Jason, 47, unexpectedly passed away at his home where he lived with his three children, Ian 6, Roxi 10, Keira 13, and their amazing mother Natasha. They have been told he died from natural causes.
His children and his family were his world. The thing that made him light up instantly. He was a good man, true friend, and a standout father.
Jason was the meaning of joy and throughout his life he loved to share that with everyone he encountered. He was always there to listen and almost always would jump in and lend a hand whenever he could. He truly connected with so many people and really loved his friends. It didn’t matter if you hadn’t seen him for ten years, the next time you spoke the connection and his clear love for people would shine right through again. He valued friendships and the connections he made wherever he went.
This Go Fund Me has been started to provide immediate access to needed funds and support for his children. If you attended school with Jason, worked on shows or tours, are part of the Cirque family, or knew him from other groups, please please donate and share this and ask for others in that community to share as well. Jason was there to help so many with the big things and small things, tool belt in hand and with an open heart and mind.
If you’re looking for a way to help or provide support, please donate. If you’ve benefited from knowing Jason and feel a bit lost, please consider donating. If you are reading and didn’t know him, your donation will be a selfless act of kindness and care for his children and family - support sent from a stranger within his many communities. Let’s rally for Jason and lift up his children through the strength of the friendships Jason built and the communities he was a part of. Any amount will be appreciated and the funds are intended to provide support in such a hard situation for his children.
Information about services will be posted as they are determined.
