Hello all,

My name is Juliette, Janet’s oldest grandchild. On July 14, I received the news that she went to sleep and never woke up. This has been a major blow to those who loved her so very much, including family, friends, and members of the community. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend, pet lover, devout Christian, and was very involved in multiple facets of the community, especially in Daviess County, KY. She had a great passion for students, especially those with disabilities, was a member of Christ Community Church, a prominent figure in the Senior Community Center of Owensboro KY, a babysitter, and to me, a woman who would do anything for her children, grandchildren and ANYONE she cared about. She had a huge capacity to love, and she did so ferociously.

She overcame so many hardships in her life. She lost her son Donald when he was 8 years old and within the past seven months, faced the loss of her son Christopher, and her husband Nick. She persevered without ever doubting that God was by her side.

My mother Rebecca and my aunt Angela are the only remaining descendants of Janet and Nick and are faced with the financial hardship of Janet’s final expenses. This includes cremation, Janet’s service on July 21st, and the other many expenses that will come up. Please consider honoring Janet’s life and legacy by donating and sharing this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden on her children.

The funds will be dispersed to my mother and Janet’s oldest daughter, Rebecca Haney in a separate bank account solely for managing these expenses.
