In Memoriam of Jane Hohlstein

Donation protected
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help during this incredibly sudden and unbearable time. As many of you might be aware, Jane Hohlstein passed away unexpectedly in her apartment around January 8th, leaving behind not only countless friends, family, and co workers but her beloved children, Meghann and Ian. For those of us who had the absolute pleasure of knowing this beautiful woman, we are still trying to comprehend this devastating news. Please read below as we try to raise money for funeral expenses and much needed answers.

Tragically, the St. Louis County Coroner’s office did not find sufficient cause to conduct an internal autopsy. Thus, leaving her friends and family to shoulder the cost of approximately $8,000 in hopes of any answers. As if this sudden tragedy isn’t difficult enough, we must now attempt to raise enough money to have our own outside autopsy performed. Not only is it closure and answers we are looking for, but also to rule out any hereditary concerns for her children.

This comes at an especially tough time, just after the holidays, when finances can already feel stretched thin. Jane unfortunately did not have any after life policies in place. On top of eveything else we do not have an abundance of time on our side to make this happen. If you are unable to contribute financially, please know that even a simple share of this campaign is just as important to us. It truly does take a village. Your kindness and support are deeply appreciated during this unimaginable time. Thank you.
