In Loving Memory of James

As many of you know, we lost our dear friend James. James had a magnetic soul. He stood up for everyone and loved his family with his whole heart, the same way he loved his friends. If you knew James, you knew what it felt like to be seen, accepted, and cared for without question.

Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

With his sudden passing, his family is facing the heavy cost of cremation and memorial expenses. They are hardworking, loving people who are now trying to grieve while handling the unthinkable. They shouldn’t have to carry this weight alone.

With their full blessing, I’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden. Every cent raised will go directly to James’s family to help pay for the cremation and to help his mother hold the memorial she wants for him in Portland.

James was always there for so many of us. He was the friend who stayed by your side, who made you laugh when you thought you couldn’t. His heart was rare, and his love was real.
