Honor Jacky's Legacy: Support Her Final Farewell

Hi there, everyone. It's Sarah, writing to you today with incredible strength and with a very heavy heart, to inform one and all that my beloved mother, Jacqueline Bruno Sperling, has now passed away to be with God the evening of August 24th, 2025. She was 61 years old.

I'm not sure I have the exact words to fully describe the type of woman in full my mama was. But for her, I will try. Anyone and everyone who knew and knows Jacky understands the heavy weight of this outcome, as she was someone who despite her recent illnesses and diagnoses, was known to all as such a fighter; a stubborn woman who took on every piece of life's challenges by the horns with heels dug firmly in the ground. A person who stuck to her morals and to her ways regardless of how fast life could change. A woman who lived for the simple joys that moments could bring: sneaking candy and snacks into the movie theatre through her purse, and pulling out Mentos for later just because she could. Early Saturday morning drives (and dragging one of us kids around with her) to pick up fresh baked bread and deli ham and cheese for sandwiches, with a cold Malta to drink. Finding the best items on sale in the clearance section because she firmly believed that good fashion shouldn't cost much. Hosting events growing up with family and friends because she loved making her famous potato salad. Making her own Christmas present arrangements because thoughtful gifts were intentionally made. Buying trinkets and gifting them randomly just because she was thinking of that person. Always devoted to my late wonderful father, Walter Sperling, and constantly keeping her three big babies Sarah, Alexi and Allen close to her nest, because her family was always home. Yes, my mom was a person who lived for the tenacity of life. She defined the extraordinary in the ordinary moments of every day, and I think that would best describe her. She was and will always be beautiful.

Mama Jacky was a proud woman, one who didn't wish for others to see her in her time of illness over these last recent years. Chronic Kidney Disease and Failure among other illnesses were hard to manage for my mother, as this greatly affected her quality of life toward recent months. Ultimately, it was a staph infection that overtook her entire body, along with several strokes, an amputation, and quickly diminishing quality of life that led to her departure from this world into the next. She was incredibly brave and fought a very hard battle over the last month of hopeful recovery, before honoring her wishes to rest took place. She was in peace and in comfort in the end, as she had always hoped it would be.

I created this campaign in hopeful attempts for any donations to help toward her final wishes of resting, and service requests for a funeral service. Any and all funds will go directly toward this, as this was quite sudden and unexpected for everyone, especially herself. The entire Sperling family is more than grateful for all donations, every ounce of help, all the loving messages, care, and the support given in this delicate time.

Mother of three children to myself, Alexi and Allen, and passionately devoted wife to my father Walter Sperling, my mom Jacqueline now joins my Dad in Heaven above. May she forever rest in all the love and abundant peace she deserves. We love you always and forever, mama.
