Although my Ivanna’s heart surgery went well, unfortunately she went in with small pupils but came out with dilated pupils which they worried meant she must have had damage to her brain. This was confirmed earlier today when a scan was taken of her brain. My ivanna fought so hard and she was so brave but in the end it was just too much for her little body to handle. I have lost a part of my heart today. I was able to hold her in my arms one last time and it was my greatest honor and privilege to hold her until she took her last breath. She will know that her mommy was by her side to the very last moment and she was not alone, she was surrounded by many who loved her. I love you my baby girl Ivanna and you have left a mark in my life that no one could ever erase. Grandpa Nacho will be there to meet you at the gates of heaven and he will take care of you until we meet again my love.
