Honor Hugo Gruner: Help Fulfill His Final Wish

On March 24th, 2015, I received the most painful phone call I've been dreading for years, and that was to be informed that my father, Hugo Gruner, had been called home to God. My BEST friend in the whole world and to MANY others as well! My Dad was everything to me, and to lose him is just devastating. He was the BEST Dad I could ever ask for. No matter what, he was always there for me and gave me the words of wisdom to build myself into the man I am now. My life will be forever changed. I know he was loved by so many and will be missed dearly!

Unfortunately, my father was never able to get proper life insurance to cover his last dying wish, so with that, I'm asking the ones I love and the ones who loved him to help me lay my Dad to rest per his wishes. My father served our country and helped MANY homeless veterans obtain their benefits they earned and made sure they got off the streets. My father served with the United States Army 75th Ranger Regiment as a Combat Medic! To me, he was a badass and deserves to be laid to rest per his last wishes. Unfortunately, the costs these days are just astronomical, and the VA hardly covers a fraction of the cost. Anything helps, and our family will be forever grateful for any kind of donations, even if it's just leaving a comment and sharing your story about my Dad. We sincerely thank everyone that will take the time to help, whatever that may be!
