Help Honor My Father's last Wish

My dad, Houl Proul, was a shy, kind, good-spirited man with much hope in his heart. In 2006, when I was 19, my dad suffered a stroke, paralyzing his whole left side; he was also diagnosed with prostate cancer and developed chronic psoriasis. Despite significant health challenges, he always prayed for others and was uncomplaining. He consistently expressed gratitude for even the tiniest blessings, such as receiving a sweet bread, and never wished to burden anyone. In 2023, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. For nineteen years, despite considerable pain, he maintained a loving spirit, believing he would recover and be able to fully care for himself and his family again. Even at the age of eighty-four, his faith remained strong, and each time he battled for his life, he managed to overcome it and tried his best to hold on.

I am deeply hurt to share that he did not make it this time, and my father passed away three days into the new year. Helping me give him a proper burial would mean the world to me; it would bring me such peace. Your kindness would be amazing.
