Honor Helen Brophy with a Celebration of Life

Hello, my name is Taryn Brophy and I am making this gofundme to raise money for cremation services and a celebration of life for my mother.

My mom was born as Helen Elizabeth Fanning October 23rd 1962. She had 62 years to make lasting and loving impressions on everyone she met- she was a social butterfly who was sweet, funny, feisty and was never afraid to speak her mind. She grew up in Presidential Lakes with a very large family and many friends. She attended John K. Ossi Vocational-Technical School and was a part of their graduating class of 1980. She bartended for many years in Pemberton Township, and that is how she met my father Timothy Brophy. They fell in love, and my mom became Helen Brophy. I cannot write the words to describe how wonderful of a mommy and mother she was to me, I was spoiled rotten and blessed as their only child. It is hard to type out and summarize a person’s story, so this is just a small glimpse into who my mother was.

She passed away on July 9th 2025 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills. She was surrounded by family and love as we watched her make her transition from this life.

We are asking for assistance in getting cremation services as well as funds to help us host a private celebration of life ceremony. Thank you so much for reading.
