Four weeks ago, our beloved Guy Abston suffered a devastating, sudden bleeding brain aneurysm, followed by several strokes over the next few weeks. Despite the heroic efforts of his medical team, Guy was taken off life support. In his final act of generosity, many of his organs were donated, bringing hope and life to others in need—a testament to the selfless and kind-hearted man he was.

Guy had recently started a new job, but tragically, he wasn’t there long enough to qualify for life insurance. His family is now facing the overwhelming challenge of settling his affairs while mourning his unimaginable loss.

To honor Guy’s incredible life and bring together the many people who loved him, his family plans to host celebrations of life in both Florida and Illinois—two places where his unforgettable smile and laugh left a lasting impact.
