Honor Gina's Legacy: Help Her Loved Ones

Gina Fernhoff Gorbecki was a beacon of love, strength, and generosity.  Gina was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Her infectious smile and unwavering spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

For years, Gina battled breast cancer silently and courageously, never seeking help or sympathy.  A proud and strong woman, she continued to give selflessly to others even as she faced unimaginable challenges. Sadly, Gina’s battle recently came to an end leaving behind her loving husband, Rich, and their two beautiful daughters, Gianna (9) and Vanessa (5).

Gina’s proudest accomplishment was being a mother and wife, which involved being an active community leader and member of the Park View PTA.  Gina gave her time and energy to support local families and schools and also poured her heart into volunteering as a coach for Kings Park Youth Cheerleading. She inspired her daughters and other young girls with her strength, resilience, and kindness. Even while battling cancer, Gina never let her pain overshadow her dedication to others.

This young family now faces stress with Rich left to shoulder these responsibilities alone while continuing to provide for his two daughters.   

Now, it’s our turn to honor Gina’s legacy by supporting the family she loved so deeply. Your donations will help cover funeral expenses and ease the financial strain of medical bills and expenses left behind by this devastating illness.
