Honor Gary Byers: Support Funeral Costs

Hello! My name is Kimberly Vifinkle. I am the Daughter of Gary M Byers. I am trying to raise money for the expense's of my beautiful Dad's funeral. For my dad served in Korea for 6years, he had worked for a company named IFR/Triumph for 50 year's and was a Pastor for 45 years' .

He was a loving, kind, caring, supportive, hard working, wise, funny, God fearing, patient, understanding and a great role model to other's that new him. At our church he was known to other's as Papa, for all the kids loved him so much. The children that did not have a dad, I was always willing to share, because he was what a real dad should be, for I was a daddy's girl. He loved to sing, dance, play the congas, loved cars, and loved the Kansas City Chief's.

In 2018 everything went down hill from there. He had a heart valve put in wrong and he almost lost his life. He could not work, drive, pastor, or all the things he loved he could not do. Later they put him on a cholesterol medicine that was a high dosage that caused a brain bleed, where he almost lost his life again and was put on temporary dialysis. Then after he suffered a stroke , where he felt less then a man, because he became paralyzed, so he could not walk, he could not really talk, and he was unable to support his family.

Late 2024 my dad started moving his leg for we all were so excited and I thought 2025 was going to be a better year for him . January 4, 2025 my dad was admitted into the hospital where they though had pneumonia or some sort of infection in his lungs but the could not figure out what it was, it was klebsiella pneumonia with sepsis all in his blood. They later put my dad on life support and he passed January 14, 2025. I felt like I lost my world, everything happened so fast. We found out that my dad was so busy helping others with food, clothes, houses, cars, furniture, because he had great love that he forgot about himself. So if anyone out there feels in there heart to help, we would be so forever grateful. I know my dad is looking down and would give you the biggest godly hug..
