Yesterday, our family lost Gareth Nigel Moore, my brother-in-law, and we are heartbroken. Gareth served his country as a veteran and was part of the Presidential Honor Guard, and we want to honor his life and service with the dignity and respect he deserves. His loss was sudden, and while we are trying to support one another through this painful time, we are also facing immediate cremation expenses that we are not financially prepared to cover on such short notice.

The VA is helping with funeral arrangements, but because Gareth was retired, they are not able to help with cremation or burial services. We are raising funds to pay directly for Gareth’s cremation, his urn, and the death certificates needed so he can be buried at Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery. These are necessary steps to make sure he is laid to rest properly and with honor.
