With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Gail Lynn Harris on July 26, 2025. Gail was a fierce fighter who bravely battled COPD and Congestive Heart Failure, holding on with strength til the very end.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, but a proud longtime resident of Sciotoville. Gail had the soul of a gypsy, she moved often throughout her life, and each new place became a chapter in her journey. Whether she was starting over or just simply passing through, she embraced each stop as an experience, always bringing warmth, strength, and an unforgettable presence into every home that she made for herself , particularly the homes that she made with her loved ones. Gail knew what it was like to begin again and maybe thats why she had such compassion for others in need, she would help anyone without hesitation. Family, friends, or strangers, it didn’t matter, if she could she would. Her heart and door was always open for any of us that needed it. Gail deeply missed the people that she’d lost, especially her two daughters. She would often speak of them with a love that never faded. Despite her own grief, she continued to be the source of joy for all of us that loved her. Her laugh was beautiful and infectious. She always had the best conversations about life, love, pain, lessons that she had learned along the way, and she loved talking about her movies. She made you feel at home just being near her.

Gail loved dancing, held her friendships close to her heart and enjoyed feeding/watching the birds, Bluejays and cardinals being her favorite. She loved spending time with friends, family, and her favorite visitors were from all the little kids in her life. She always kept candy, snacks, coloring pages, and stuffed animals ready to make them smile.
