Honor Fred Horen: Adopt-a-Bench in Central Park

In loving memory of Fred Horen, who was an adoring husband and an amazing dad. Fred was a devoted brother and brother-in-law, a father in-law, a doting uncle, a caring son and son-in-law, a great neighbor, and a good friend to many. Fred was a world traveler, an avid golfer, and a former runner who ran 3 New York City marathons. He spent many an hour running the roads and the reservoir of Central Park and spent so much time with his beloved Nadia and his 3 sons in the playgrounds and on the Great lawn. He also was a great fan of the Delacorte Theater.

Central Park holds a many great memories for our family and Fred truly loved spending time there.

In his honor, we will Adopt-a-Bench through the Central Park Conservancy. Help us make this a reality by sending a contribution in Fred’s honor. The cost of the memorial is $10,000 but any additional money we raise will be used to pay the park for upkeep of the memorial throughout its life.
