Dearest Family, Friends, and Compassionate Strangers,

It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of Fred Ojienda Gondi, a beloved son, devoted husband and father, and cherished friend.

At just 33 years old, Fred’s bright and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew him. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Fred served his country with honor and continued to live with that same dedication, kindness, and integrity in his everyday life. His laughter, warmth, and positive energy made every space he entered a little brighter.

Fred leaves behind his loving wife, Sylvia Gondi, and their precious one-year-old son, Lloyd. His unexpected passing has left an unfillable void in their lives and in the hearts of all who knew him.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we are also coming together to prepare for Fred’s final journey home to Kenya, where he will be laid to rest with the dignity and love he so greatly deserves. The costs associated with this process, including travel and funeral expenses, are considerable, and we are humbly seeking support to raise $25,000 to help his family during this painful time.

No contribution is too small. Every gesture of love, every prayer, and every share of this message brings us one step closer to giving Fred the farewell he deserves and supporting his young family as they begin to heal.
